CHAMPIONSHIP

THOMAS JEFFERSON 45, GLEN ALLEN 44

Glen Allen nearly completed the comeback - trailing at times by double digits before tying the game in the last minute - but the last possession was owned by T.J., and Josh Boone made one of two free throws with 1.7 seconds to play to give the Vikings the 45-44 title victory.  It was a fitting end, as Boone was the best player on the floor, leading all scorers with 17 points.  Vidrell Lee added nine in the win.  Ed Hasic's 15 points & Brandon Wyatt's 12 points led the charge for Glen Allen, who started the game in a 10-0 hole and dug themselves all the way out before the tough finish.

SEMIFINALS

GLEN ALLEN 49, PATRICK HENRY 33

Glen Allen jumped on Patrick Henry early, building a 27-11 halftime lead and never looking back, eventually earning the 49-33 win.  Brandon Wyatt and Ed Hasic each scored 12 points in the Glen Allen victory.  Patrick Henry only had four players score, led by Raymon Minor's 13 points.

THOMAS JEFFERSON 55, ATLEE 40

T.J. shook off a sluggish start and pulled away from Atlee in the 2nd half for a 55-40 win.  Rashawn Alexander scored a game-high 19 points, while Josh Boone finished with 16 and Devaughn Kelsie had nine.  Brian Ratchford (14 points) & Brian Miller (10) accounted for 60% of the Atlee offense.

1ST ROUND

ATLEE 43, DEEP RUN 42/OT

Trailing by 12 with four minutes to play, Atlee went on a 3-point barrage to tie the game late, & Mac Grey's bucket with two seconds remaining in overtime gave the Raiders the 43-42 surprise over Deep Run.  Brian Miller keyed the comeback, leading Atlee with 18 points, & Rashawn Winters pitched in seven.  J.R. Johnson led Deep Run with 14 points, & Blake King netted eight in the loss.

GLEN ALLEN 56, LEE DAVIS 54

Lee Davis put together their best effort of the season at the right time, but Glen Allen made just enough plays down the stretch to hold on for the win, 56-54.  Grayson Midulla led three Glen Allen players in double figures with 15 points.  Ed Hasic chipped in 13 & Brandon Wyatt finished with 12.  LaDarion Autry led all scorers with 18 points to pace Lee Davis, who also got 14 from Josh Brown.

Josh Boone led four Thomas Jefferson players in double figures with 18 points, and T.J. cruised past Lee Davis, 76-49.  Vidrell Lee added 17 points in the win, Bryant James chipped in 14 & Kadeem Wright finished with 11.  LaDarian Autry led all scorers with 21 points for Lee Davis.

PATRICK HENRY 42, GLEN ALLEN 41

Patrick Henry led most of the way and nearly squandered the game with some late misses from the foul line, but Glen Allen's last-second heave was no good & P.H. survived, 42-41.  Kahlil Mock scored 12 points & Romeo Jones netted 10 in the win for P.H., while Ed Hasic scored 15 points & Grayson Midulla poured in 13 for Glen Allen.

DEEP RUN 53, ATLEE 37

Deep Run built a 10-point halftime lead and never looked back, downing Atlee 53-37.  A balanced Deep Run offense was led by 15 points from Tim Branin and 10 from Devontaye Lowe.  Atlee got 12 points from Mac Grey & eight from Jarris Hendricks.

GLEN ALLEN 53, DEEP RUN 41

Glen Allen built an early lead on Deep Run and maintained it throughout, eventually prevailing 53-41.  Brandon Wyatt led three Glen Allen players in double figures with 16 points.  Grayson Midulla chipped in 13 & Derrick Johnson had 10 in the victory.  For Deep Run, J.R. Johnson poured in a game-high 17 points & Aaron Simmons added 11.

THOMAS JEFFERSON 75, PATRICK HENRY 43

In the battle for the playoffs' top seed, Thomas Jefferson dominated early and often in a 75-43 romp over Patrick Henry.  Vidrell Lee hit three 3's and led T.J. with 20 points.  Josh Boone (16 points) & Rashawn Alexander (14) combined for another 30, while Kadeem Wright chipped in 10.  Raymon Minor was a standout again for P.H., scoring a game-high 26 points, & Romeo Jones finished with 11 in the loss.

ATLEE 49, LEE DAVIS 46

Brian Ratchford & Brian Miller combined for 29 points, including a bunch of late free throws, to help Atlee hold off Lee Davis, 49-46.  The two combined for 11 made foul shots, with Ratchford finishing with 18 points & Miller adding 11.  LaDarion Autry (19 points) & Austin Stallings (11) combined for 30 of Lee Davis's 46 points on the night.

PATRICK HENRY 65, LEE DAVIS 35 

Lucas Pinekowski controlled the paint and Patrick Henry knocked off Lee Davis, 65-35.  Pienkowski led P-H with 20 points, and Raymon Minor scored all 10 of his points in the 2nd half.  Josh Brown drilled two 3's and led Lee Davis with 20 points, while Sean Clayton added 13.

THOMAS JEFFERSON 61, DEEP RUN 40 

Thomas Jefferson controlled from start to finish in a 61-40 victory over Deep Run.  Kadeem Wright poured in a game-high 22 points, & Josh Boone netted 12 for TJ.  Tim Branin's 16 points was a team-high for Deep Run, who also go seven from Blake King.

GLEN ALLEN 52, ATLEE 36 

Glen Allen shook off a sluggish start and pulled away for a 52-36 win over Atlee.  Brandon Wyatt's 14 points was tops for Glen Allen, who also got nine each from Grayson Midulla & Tre'Shawn Blackston.  Quincy Randolph paced Atlee with 16. 

THOMAS JEFFERSON 56, GLEN ALLEN 43 

Kadeem Wright & Vidrell Lee combined for 40 points and helped Thomas Jefferson break open a two-point halftime lead to put away Glen Allen, 56-43.  Both Wright & Lee scored 20 points, hitting five 3's between them.  Brandon Wyatt finished with 12 points for Glen Allen, who suffered just their 2nd loss of the season (both to TJ).

DEEP RUN 73, LEE DAVIS 36 

Deep Run built a 15-point halftime lead & kept it going after the break, beating Lee Davis 73-36.  J.R. Johnson had a big night with 22 points, & Tim Branin collected 21 in the Deep Run victory.  For Lee Davis, it was Jesse Tuck with nine points & LaDarian Autry's eight leading the way.

PATRICK HENRY 62, ATLEE 46 

Raymon Minor scored 16 of his game-high 26 points in the 2nd half to help Patrick Henry run away from Atlee, 62-46.  Romeo Jones added 12 for the Patriots, while Atlee got 20 points from Brian Miller, 14 from Mac Grey & 10 from Quincy Randolph.

PATRICK HENRY 59, THOMAS JEFFERSON 55 / 2 OT

Patrick Henry found themselves on the right side of a tight game this time, making big plays late to deal Thomas Jefferson their 1st loss, 59-55 in double overtime.  Raymon Minor was again the difference, scoring a game-high 27 points and converting big free throws.  Lucas Pienkowski pitched in 10 points, while Kahlil Mock & Romeo Jones each added nine.  Kadeem Wright buried four 3's and kept T.J. in it with 23 points, & Rashawn Alexander finished with 10 in the loss.

GLEN ALLEN 41, DEEP RUN 26

Brandon Wyatt and Ed Hasic combined for 27 points, and that was enough as Glen Allen stymied Deep Run, 41-26.  Wyatt led the way with 14 points & Hasic had 13.  Tim Branin scored a game-high 16 points for Deep Run, who converted just seven team field goals for the game.

ATLEE 48, LEE DAVIS 33

Glen Allen put four players in double figures as they cruised past Lee Davis, 61-34.  D.J. Mulkey led all scorers with 15 points, Ed Hasic netted 13, Tre'Shawn Blackston chipped in 12 & Grayson Midulla finished with 10.  Lee Davis was paced by Josh Brown with eight points.

T.J. shook off their 1st defeat in a big way, knocking off Atlee, 100-38.  Rashawn Alexander scored 18 points to lead T.J., who also got 17 apiece from Kadeem Wright & Devaughn Kelsie.  Marquise Anderson added 15 & Bryant James finished with 10 to add to the scoring binge.  Quincy Randolph was the bright spot for Atlee with 21 points.

PATRICK HENRY 42, DEEP RUN 29

Patrick Henry shut down Deep Run in the 2nd half and pulled away for a 42-29 victory.  P.H. was led by Raymon Minor's 21 points & Lucas Pienkowki's 10.  Tim Branin again paced Deep Run with eight points.

Patrick Henry built a 15-point halftime lead and went on to defeat Atlee, 57-40.  Kahlil Mock led the Patriots with 20 points, while Will Holman added 13.  Brian Miller accounted for half of the Atlee offense with 20 points of his own.

Kadeem Wright led all scorers with 20 points, including a bunch of late free throws to help T.J. hold off Glen Allen, 47-44.  Devaughn Kelsie chipped in 13 points in T.J.'s closest contest yet, while Brandon Wyatt led Glen Allen with 11 points & Ed Hasic netted 10.

Atlee led Deep Run by three at the break, but the Wildcats doubled the Raiders up in the 2nd half to pull away 53-40.  Patrick McNerney drilled three 3's and led all scorers with 14 points for Deep Run, who also got nine from Tim Branin.  Atlee was led by Alec Barney's 12 points & Brian Ratchford's 10.

Glen Allen built a workable lead in the 2nd half and held off Patrick Henry, 51-47.  Grayson Midulla & Brandon Wyatt each scored 13 points, while Ed Hasic added 10 in the win.  Raymon Minor scored a game-high 15 points for PH, & Lucas Pienkowski finished with 10.

Thomas Jefferson overwhelmed Lee Davis and won 75-20.  Rashawn Alexander led the way with 16 points, Bryant James had 14, & Josh Boone pitched in 13 for T.J.  LaDarion Autry scored eight points to lead Lee Davis, who was limited to just six field goals as a team for the game.

Glen Allen held Lee Davis to just nine second-half points and went on for a 46-22 victory.  Ed Hasic led Glen Allen with 15 points, while Grayson Midulla chipped in seven.  Josh Brown's eight points paced Lee Davis.

THOMAS JEFFERSON 69, ATLEE 44

Thomas Jefferson jumped out to a 14-point halftime lead and defeated Atlee, 69-44.  Josh Bull scored a team-high 14 points, Kadeem Wright & Cameron Hawkins each scored 10 for T.J.  Atlee was paced by 16 points from Brian Ratchford.

DEEP RUN 52, PATRICK HENRY 51

Timmy Branin's buzzer-beating layup gave Deep Run a wild 52-51 win over Patrick Henry.  Branin led Deep Run with 16 points, including the layup that came off a Patrick Henry missed free throw with five seconds to play.  Devonte Lowe added 14 points in the win, while Raymon Minor led all scorers with 24 points for Patrick Henry.  Kahil Mock chipped in 13 points for the Patriots.

Romeo Jones poured in 19 points & Patrick Henry knocked off Lee Davis, 60-43.  Raymon Minor chipped in 12 points in the win.  The Lee Davis offense was carried by LaDarion Autry's 17 points.

Thomas Jefferson flipped a six-point halftime deficit into a 10-point win, 60-50 over Deep Run.  Rashawn Alexander's 19 points led T.J., followed by 15 from Kadeem Wright & 13 from Josh Bull.  Timmy Branin led all scorers with 21 points for Deep Run.
